About

From his early years in a diverse and complex household, Michael Franti learned the values of compassion, authenticity, and perseverance. Those lessons shaped a career that now spans music, philanthropy, and entrepreneurship. Alongside his wife Sara Franti, he co-founded the Do It For The Love Foundation, a nonprofit that brings individuals with life-threatening illnesses, children with special needs, and wounded veterans to live concerts — creating joy through shared experiences. A devoted husband and father, Franti embraces fitness, basketball, padel, yoga, and songwriting as daily practices of gratitude and growth. His optimism is both a personal philosophy and a professional signature — believing that even in life’s hardest moments, love, music, and community can guide us back to light.
